Arthur Ragauskas is an expert in biorefining, with a focus on identifying plants and other natural materials for fuels, chemicals, materials and power sources. He researches ways to adapt those materials for use in construction, transportation, packaging, composites, health care and advanced materials. Ragauskas is the UT-Oak Ridge National Laboratory Governor’s Chair for Biorefining.
