Jedediah Blanton is an expert on the psychosocial aspects of sport and physical activity. His research focuses on education-based high school sport, including the structure and purpose of interscholastic sport and how to develop leadership and life skills through athletics. He is also the director of the PASS Research Team in the Applied Sport Psychology Lab.
