Jennifer DeBruyn, a microbial ecologist, researches the impacts of biodegradable plastics on soil health and the decomposition of vertebrate mortalities (human and animal).
She is also involved in developing the “Backyard STEM” program, a curriculum program for 4-H agents focused on environmental-science education for youth.
