Stefanie Benjamin specializes in social-cultural issues of tourism, the Black Travel Movement, African American tourism, film-related tourism, disability travel and tourism, women in travel, and sustainable tourism. She also facilitates improvisational games to help improve communication, creativity, and listening skills. Benjamin is initiative coordinator for Tourism RESET, a multi-university and interdisciplinary research and outreach initiative that seeks to identify, study, and challenge patterns of social inequity in the tourism industry.
