Suresh Babu explores the production, design, and performance of new and advanced materials. His research helps widen the scope of advanced manufacturing and additive manufacturing, more commonly known as 3D printing. Babu is the Director of the Bredesen Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Graduate Education and the Interim Education Director of the UT–Oak Ridge Innovation Institute.
