Uday Vaidya is a leading expert in advanced materials, particularly related to composites and advanced manufacturing techniques. Examples of his work include helping Volkswagen develop a specific type of lift gate and the 3D printing production of more than 50,000 pieces of personal protection equipment to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
